  7.    These days, there are very few ways of phreaking, left. But now that
  8. Telecom have installed the 'MTC 13A' call-charge meters. (29/OCT/94) There is
  9. a simple new way! These new call meters monitor a set of
  10. approximately 700 lines, all at once, clocking up each time a call is made.
  11. Each international, and local call you make gets charged to the account via a
  12. very powerful computer which is connected to the MTC 13A meter.
  13.    The MTC 13A is very reliable, and doesn't make ANY mistakes. This
  14. is why Telecom Australia switched, from the old ones.

  16.    Okay, now your probably thinking, what the f does this mean to little ole me?
  17. This means THERE IS AN EXTREMELY EASY WAY FOR YOU TO PHREAK!!! YES! Even a
  18. castrated dog without 3/4 of it brain can do this, because it's SOOOO easy!!!

  20. And what also makes this so good is that you CAN NOT GET BUSTED FOR IT!!! There
  21. is no way you can get into shit for doing this. It's virtually untraceble
  22. because your sharing your meter with 700 other people!

  24. This method will be around for awhile, so you don't need to worry if your
  25. reading this 2 years from the time I released it, because Telescum spent milions
  26. of bucks installing these new call charge meters, so they're not in a hurry to
  27. change them.

  30. -------------------------Okay heres what you do:--------------------------------

  33. 1) Get an old power cord. Complete with a power plug.
  34.  
  35. 2) Cut the end without the plug, and spread it out. Work out which ones are
  36.    which, and discard the Earth, ones. Just spread the two sets
  37.    into two sections.

  39. 3) Now with alumium foil, cover the wires' ends, so they are like plugs.

  41. 4) Okay, now get these two alumium covered ends, insert them into your phone
  42.    socket, in the wall. Like this:

  54.  Yeah, there's one in the very top, and one in the very bottom. It doesn't matte
  55. which goes where, as long as one alumium bit goes in the top, and the other at
  56. bottom.

  58.  5) Okay, now put the other end of your power cord - the plug,
  59.     into the electric socket:

  63.  6) So basically now, you have a power cord. One end is in a phone socket
  64.     and the other end in a power point.

  66.  7) Now, just turn on the power for about 40 minutes. Replug in your phone
  67.     and listen, there should be two small clicks, then the normal dialing tone.

  69.     Then try calling telescum before and after an STD phone call, your account
  70.     wouldn't have been charged...

  72. Now that's it, you and 700 other people, can make calls to wherever you want
  73. and not get billed, until the silly telescum people fix the meter. Then all you
  74. have to do is repeat the operation...
